Cheap prices and beautiful new cars. The staff is very flexible and affordable. The cars are very new and very well maintained. They have dimensions and are valid. Not to mention luxury categorically. Since cars are new, consumption is very low even in high-powered cars or petrol engines. Overall it would recommend and maybe use again.
Excellent sales service from Peter Malcolm and Scott and can recommend Edinburgh Volvo completely.
Simple things - I found out my Volvo XC70 had a seatbelt recall when I taxed it & subsequently received a letter from Volvo, Edinburgh. All good. I subsequently spoke on the telephone with a pleasant lady who booked me in for 8am on Thursday 19/11/20. Still, all good. I live in the Scottish Borders so it was a 06:30am start to be there for 8am. On arrival at 07:50hrs I parked at the rear (following signage) and walked back round to the front double entrance door where I met another Volvo customer waiting to get in. It was very cold and were both disappointed that the front door was locked as staff were clearly visible inside the showroom but ignoring us. 8am came and went and still we stood by a locked door. By this time I was chilled. My fellow customer went to his mobile phone but was repeatedly frustrated by no reply after an automated system response. The other customer walked off and I was left standing at a locked front door. It was now becoming annoying as I had made a great effort to be at Volvo ahead of my booked time only now to be late. I asked a young male Volvo employee who was sweeping up the leaves around the cars in the forecourt when I was going to get inside. He did not say when the main front door entrance would be unlocked but kindly told me that the service entrance was round the side of the building. I asked him how I was supposed to know this as there were no signs stating service entrance this way etc to which he could only shrug. (Not his fault I know). I found the side door and my fellow cold customer from the front door who said that he thought I would come looking when he did not come back. I was now third in the queue as another customer was standing in front of us. When I was served I asked how I was supposed to know that the service entrance was round the side of the building to have this very same information regurgetated back to me by the male service staff i.e the front door "sales" door is locked and the "service" door is round the side, which explained nothing. I am neither stupid or arguementative so let it go. Life is hard enough, especially just now, but a simple sign on the front door with an arrow stating that the service entrance is round the side could have made this experience a lot simpler.
Showroom a bit tired. Clelland Volvo in Galashiels is by far the best Volvo showroom I've ever been in. However the service in Edinburgh Volvo is usually of a high standard. You can always walk to the Gyle Shopping Centre for a coffee while your car is being serviced to kill some time. Works for me as I'm retired now. I'm a big Volvo fan.
We took our volvo to another garage to get the error code checked and we were told it was the DPF. We called this Branch to ask for them to take a closer look informing them it was the DPF. Instead they performed a full check without informing us and charged us £90 again without telling us there would be a cost. We managed to get the car fixed at another garage and what volvo were quoting £1300 for cost us £400. They also misdiagnosed a problem which they would have charged us £600 for!! Amongst other charges was £60 for a light bulb which the other garage changed for £7.50. Please use independent garages if you want an honest cost and diagnosis!! Very disappointed!
